A kitchen renovation for neighbors who were open to trusting the process—resulting in a bright, welcoming space that balances clean function with meaningful personal layers. A custom tile color introduced depth and warmth, while the lower cabinetry and hardware were kept crisp and quiet so the eye stays pulled upward toward the tile and the ocean-facing view (no window treatments needed). The heart of the project is the story: treasured pottery collected by the homeowner’s mother—an interior designer—was thoughtfully integrated into open display, making the kitchen feel fresh, personal, and rooted in family history.
